Chris was a little shit when he was a kid. Spoiled rotten (and knowing Lady DIDN’T HELP WITH THAT) and knew that he was big deal. The other kids knew who Chris’s dad was, and so never really gave him any trouble. He would beat up other kids just for looking at him wrong.

His dad never bailed him out though, but have no doubts that Mr. Ryan wholeheartedly approved of the shit his son did. Mrs. Ryan was less than thrilled, but knew what she was getting into when she married a mobster, so she didn’t really fight it - just tried to instill some values in Christoph. He’d get his ass whooped by his momma if he beat up a girl at school - and Lady would kick his ass if she heard that Chris has gone out of his way to not beat someone up just because they were a girl.

He learned how to handle guns when he was ten, and knife fights when he was twelve. His dad never went easy on him, and Chris has got the scars to prove it. Looking back though, Chris is grateful for his dad and how he raised him.
